The job

What you'll do

You'll teach Quran reading, Tajweed, memorisation and Arabic language in 30-minute one-to-one video lessons, with a fixed timetable of students and a course outline for each. Every lesson is recorded and reviewed by our Quality team, who coach rather than police.

  • Deliver scheduled one-to-one lessons on time, every time, over Zoom from the office
  • Follow the course outline for each student and mark attendance and progress in the portal after every lesson
  • Keep parents informed through the support team — you teach, they handle the messages
  • Take part in weekly Quality feedback and short training sessions
Requirements

What we need from you

  • Perfect Tajweed — accurate recitation with a strong command of the rules (assessed)
  • Arabic — able to read, understand and teach the language
  • Working English — enough to teach children abroad and follow a course outline
  • Punctuality — a lesson missed is a family lost; we hire for reliability first

What's in the application

10-question Tajweed test, 10-question English test and a 60-second recorded recitation — all inside the application, about 15 minutes. The second, longer assessment happens later on a private link, at the hour you'd be working.

Commitment

One year,
both ways.

12 months

One contract, one bonus for finishing it

Every role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a 30-day notice period. Complete the year and you receive a bonus of half a month's salary, paid with your 12th month's pay.

3 months

Probation, both ways

During the first three months either side can end the contract with seven days' notice. Salary for every day worked is always paid on the normal pay date.

The bonus is kept if you leave early for one of these

  • Serious illness, accident or disability
  • A government job appointment letter
  • Marriage
  • Going abroad for studies (not a visit)

Documents required. Any other early exit forfeits the bonus.

Paid Umrah & Hajj leave

Separate from the bonus and unaffected by it. Applies once probation is complete.
